We’ll let you in on a secret: It’s much easier to do with a cocktail in hand. The combination of a Golden Margarita and any one of our Double Take Salsa varieties pairs better than ice dancers and too many sequins. And, much like the aforementioned, it’s best served on ice.


1 ½ ounces silver, white, or blanco tequila

½ ounce Grand Marnier

¾ ounces fresh lime juice

½ ounce orange-infused syrup (we like this recipe for Orange Simple Syrup from The Spruce!)

½ ounce fresh lemon juice

½ ounce fresh orange juice

Directions: Blend ‘em all together. Pour over ice, or mix in a shaker if you’re feeling fancy. Grab a bag of chips, a jar of Double Take Salsa, and enjoy as your favorite athletes compete on the world’s biggest stage.

Machismo – The layers of flavor make this chipotle style salsa stand on its own. With a hint of sweet, followed by a rich smokiness, you will definitely do a double take as you start to feel the heat of the exotic peppers kick in.

Machismo medium – Similar composition to the salsa above, for days when you’re half as brave but just as hungry.

Aces & Eights – Plenty of TLC goes into the making of Aces & 8s corn salsa with a list of ingredients that includes orange bell pepper, roasted garlic, tomatillos and green onion. Its beautiful consistency also lends itself to serving as a relish or mix it with an avocado for a great guacamole.

Bewitched – This is a hearty black bean salsa that has a lot of lime juice to it.  The heat is more than you expect but the appearance and flavor of this “meal in a jar” will get you excited.  Use it in a 7-layer dip, top it on a burger or mix it with goat cheese in a quesadilla.

El Jefe – Hatch Peppers smoked over a wood fire to give a lasting flavor.  Mild. Crowd-pleaser.

Verde Good – This tomatillo & green chile mash-up is just fabulous.
